Areas of Practice: Environmental Law
(Foreign and Domestic)

His practice includes counseling clients regarding compliance, and conducting litigation, in connection with the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act ("CERCLA"), the Solid Waste Disposal Act (also known as "RCRA"), oil and gas wastes, underground and aboveground petroleum storage tank compliance controversies and remediations, the Clean Air Act, the Toxic Substances Control Act ("TSCA"), the Emergency Planning and Community Right to Know Act ("EPCRA"), the Clean Water Act (including wetlands protection and stormwater permitting), the Endangered Species Act, water and sewer utility law, and the performance of environmental due diligence in both corporate and real estate contexts. His practice also includes counseling clients in connection with international and foreign environmental law, particularly the provisions of Mexican environmental law and the environmentally-related provisions of the North American Free Trade Agreement ("NAFTA"), and he co-authored an amicus brief on behalf of the Border Trade Alliance in litigation over the applicability of the National Environmental Policy Act ("NEPA") to the NAFTA.
